Accessibility is very important to us, as digital services should be accessible to everyone \u2013 regardless of any limitations. By implementing the requirements of the BaFG (German Accessibility Act) and the EN 301 549 standard (based on WCAG 2.1 AA), we ensure that our software solutions are accessible and inclusive. Our goal is to provide your guests with an easy and accessible experience when using your digital services. To achieve this, we have implemented the following measures:<\/p>\n

How Our Software Supports Accessibility<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Our software solutions are designed to be usable by everyone \u2013 regardless of their individual abilities or impairments. The key features of our software modules include:<\/p>\n

Online Booking Module:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Guests are guided step by step through the booking process (e.g., date selection, room selection, entering personal data and payment information). All input steps are clearly described and fully operable using a keyboard. Error messages are clearly worded and include specific suggestions for correction.<\/p>\n

Guest App:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The app offers clearly structured menus with information on booking status, additional services, and hotel amenities. There are no time-sensitive inputs, allowing all users ample time to interact. All content is simply and clearly organized.<\/p>\n

Web Widget:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The widget can be operated using either a mouse or keyboard. Buttons and interactive elements have high contrast and are clearly labeled. Screen readers can easily access all content.<\/p>\n

Compliance with Legal Requirements<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Our software solutions meet the requirements of the BaFG (Appendix I) and the EN 301 549 standard, which is based on the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. This includes the following principles:<\/p>\n

Perceivability:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Images and icons include alternative text.<\/p>\n

Videos (e.g., tutorials) are provided with subtitles and transcripts.<\/p>\n

Operability:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The entire software is fully operable via keyboard.<\/p>\n

There are no unexpected animations or time-sensitive actions.<\/p>\n

Understandability:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

We use clear and simple language (e.g., \u201cComplete booking\u201d instead of complex technical terms).<\/p>\n

Error messages contain clear descriptions and suggested solutions.<\/p>\n

Robustness:<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Our software is based on current web standards (HTML5, WAI-ARIA).<\/p>\n

It has been tested with common assistive technologies such as screen readers and VoiceOver.<\/p>\n

Ongoing Maintenance and Review<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

We regularly review the accessibility of our software \u2013 at least once a year or whenever legal changes occur. If necessary, we implement updates to ensure continued compliance with all requirements.<\/p>\n
